Dear friends of the Upfield Urban Forest
Jane and neighbours would love your help to get on top of some weeds along the train line, just south of Merlynston station at Ararat Avenue, Coburg North.

This part of the Upfield Urban Forest has been cared for by locals for nearly 10 years now and is looking great! However, weeds from the train line have started spreading on the east (street / shared path) side of the fence.

Jane would like some help putting down cardboard and mulch, and hanging hessian sacks to prevent weeds coming back through the fence line (and to prevent Metro Trains Melbourne weed spray killing indigenous plants along here!)

If you have any indigenous grass seedlings please bring them along too.

More of the good guys (indigenous grasses) and less of the bad guys, thanks!
